Wadephul: Our close cooperation with Iceland is extremely valuable to us
Berlin, December 5 (Hibya) – German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul emphasized the strong partnership between the two countries regarding the visit of Iceland’s Foreign Minister Katrin Gunnarsdottir.
German Foreign Minister Wadephul issued a message of appreciation regarding the visit of Icelandic Foreign Minister Gunnarsdottir. The statement noted that Germany and Iceland are “close partners and team players” in the fields of security, support for Ukraine, and cooperation on renewable energy.
Wadephul said: “Thank you for your visit. Germany and Iceland are close partners. We work together for the same goal: defending our security, supporting Ukraine, and enhancing our cooperation in renewable energy. This is priceless for us.”
