Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs shared its assessment of the Doha Agreement, signed between the Government of the Republic of Colombia and the group that calls itself “EGC”. In the statement issued by the Ministry, it was underlined that the agreement reinforces the parties’ commitment to peace and establishes a framework for a responsible transition process built on trust and mutual respect.

At a press conference held on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Foreign Minister Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi highlighted Qatar’s effective diplomatic role in opening channels of communication and finding solutions to complex issues. The statement stressed that, thanks to Qatar’s dialogue- and diplomacy-oriented approach, tangible progress has been made in resolving many conflicts.

The Ministry noted that, by working together with regional and international partners, Qatar aims to develop practical solutions to end conflicts and to consolidate peace and security. Qatar also praised the determination, seriousness and patience shown by the parties during the two rounds of mediation held in Doha.

The statement commended the crucial support provided by the delegations of Norway, Switzerland and Spain, emphasizing that their contributions played an important role in the success of the agreement.

Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the agreement is dedicated first and foremost to “the friendly people of Colombia”, noting that the establishment of peace will strengthen the security, well-being and dignified life of the population.
