Volatile trading in European stock markets
Istanbul, July 1 (Hibya) - European markets showed a volatile performance on the first trading day of the week.
European markets displayed a volatile performance on the first trading day of the week. Italian and British stock markets posted gains, while French markets declined. The STOXX 600 and Germany's DAX index ended the day unchanged.
In Italy, the FTSE MIB index rose 1.01 percent to 51,682.43 points.
In the United Kingdom, the FTSE index gained 0.12 percent to 10,497.12 points. In France, the CAC index fell 0.55 percent to 8,384.87 points.
Across Europe, the STOXX 600 index remained unchanged at 641.73 points, while Germany's DAX index also closed flat at 24,995.81 points.
