Mixed performance in foreign exchange markets
Istanbul, July 1 (Hibya) - Foreign exchange markets showed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week.
Foreign exchange markets posted mixed results on the first trading day of the week. Against the U.S. dollar, the Japanese yen and the Canadian dollar strengthened, while the euro, the British pound, and the Australian dollar weakened.
The AUD/USD pair fell 0.3902 percent to 0.6892. The GBP/USD pair declined 0.1508 percent to 1.324.
While the EUR/USD pair traded down 0.1226 percent at 1.1407, the USD/CAD pair rose 0.13 percent to 1.4213.
The USD/JPY pair gained 0.12 percent, closing the day at 162.74.
