Istanbul, July 1 (Hibya) - U.S. markets posted a positive performance on the first trading day of the week.
U.S. markets showed a positive performance on the first trading day of the week, with all major New York stock market indices closing higher.
The NASDAQ 100 index rose 1.68 percent to 30,276.348 points, while the NASDAQ Composite gained 1.52 percent to 26,213.72 points.
The S&P 500 index climbed 0.79 percent to 7,499.36 points, while the Russell 2000 (RUSS 2K) index advanced 0.46 percent to 3,024.367 points.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) also gained 0.26 percent, ending the session at 52,319.20 points.
