UNRWA: More than 556,000 children vaccinated with the second dose of polio vaccine
New York, December 22 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that more than 556,000 children in Gaza have received the second dose of the polio vaccine.
In a statement issued by UNRWA, it was reported that the agency played a key role in the polio vaccination campaign in Gaza.
The statement noted that UNRWA and its partners succeeded in vaccinating more than 556,000 children with the second dose of the polio vaccine through health centers, mobile medical points, and door-to-door campaigns.
