UNRWA: Let our aid reach
New York, September 19 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) issued a call for Gaza: “Let our aid reach.”
UNRWA released a statement on the impact of ongoing military operations in Gaza City on civilians.
The statement noted a fuel shortage in the area and said UNRWA shelter materials have been barred from entering for seven months. It stressed that shelters are overcrowded and that finding space is nearly impossible. Citing a war that has lasted for almost two years, it added that people have lost their sources of income — concluding with the appeal: “Let our aid reach.”
