UNICEF: "Girls Continue to Bear the Burden of the HIV Epidemic"

A statement from UNICEF stated that girls continue to bear the burden of the HIV epidemic.
In 2022, approximately 98,000 adolescent girls aged 10-19 were infected with HIV, which translates to about 1,900 new infections every week.
