UN: War Destroys Communities and the Environment
New York, November 6 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) reported that war destroys communities and the environment.
The UN issued a statement on the occasion of the International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict.
In the UN statement, it was said: "War destroys communities and the environment. Protecting the natural resources that sustain livelihoods and ecosystems is key to lasting peace."
