Berlin, November 6 (Hibya) - German Chancellor Olaf Scholz congratulated Republican candidate Donald Trump, who declared victory in the U.S. presidential election.
German Chancellor Scholz congratulated Donald Trump on his election as President of the United States. In his congratulatory message, Scholz stated: "Germany and the United States have long worked together successfully to promote prosperity and freedom on both sides of the Atlantic. We will continue this to the benefit of our citizens".
