UN: Urgent, safe, and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid is needed
New York, January 9 (Hibya) – The United Nations (UN) stated that urgent, safe, and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid in Gaza is essential.
In a statement, the UN reported that more than two mothers were dying every hour in Gaza last year.
The statement emphasized that the unbearable reality cannot continue until 2025 and said:
"The UN Women’s Unit calls for an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages. Urgent, safe, and unrestricted access to humanitarian aid is needed."
