UNRWA: Aid and services to Palestinian refugees continue
New York, July 7 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced that humanitarian aid and basic services to Palestinian refugees continue to be provided.
In its statement, UNRWA said it continues operations in Gaza, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, as well as the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. The agency emphasized that it remains a vital support lifeline for millions of Palestinian refugees living in these areas.
UNRWA aims to meet refugees’ basic needs by providing services in education, health, food aid, and shelter.
