Ukrainian President Zelensky: We rely on France’s support
Kyiv, May 10 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said they rely on France's support for the necessary political decisions at the EU level and for opening the first negotiation clusters.
Zelensky announced that he held a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the outcomes of the Willing Coalition meeting, the implementation of a full and unconditional ceasefire of at least 30 days starting May 12, support for Ukraine’s defense, and EU membership.
He emphasized their trust in France’s support for the political decisions and opening of negotiation clusters within the EU, and added:
“Emmanuel, thank you for your co-leadership in the Willing Coalition and for your personal efforts to unite Ukraine’s partners, especially the US and European countries.”
