Kyiv, November 1 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had met with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Minister of Social Policy Denys Uliutin, noting that he instructed the government to develop and present a program package to support citizens during this winter.
Zelensky stated that, as in the previous year, the package will include direct financial assistance and special allocations for the most vulnerable social groups. He added:
"I also instructed the preparation of a special transportation support program for all Ukrainians, called UZ-3000. Every citizen will be able to choose up to 3,000 kilometers of railway routes within Ukraine free of charge. We will support the passenger transportation sector and its users.
And this winter, we will also keep gas and electricity prices for household consumers strictly fixed. There will be no increases."
