Total death toll in Gaza surpasses 71,000
Ramallah, December 30 (Hibya) – Health authorities in Gaza announced that since the clashes ongoing since October 7, 2023, the number of those killed has risen to 71,266, while the number of injured has reached 171,222.
According to CCTV, it was stated that since October 2023 the death toll in the region has been recorded at 71,266, with 171,222 injured.
In addition to the clashes, worsening winter conditions are also causing loss of life. A statement released on Monday noted that a two-month-old baby died due to severe cold.
Health authorities reported that deaths across Gaza due to building collapses triggered by winter conditions have reached 17.
