The Guardian: Ukrainian warship launched in Turkey
Stockholm, August 3 (Hibya) - According to The Guardian, Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska also attended the launching ceremony of the newly built anti-submarine warship Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi for Ukraine, held in Turkey.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said: "Due to Russian aggression, the Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi, built in Turkey, and the previously launched corvette Hetman Ivan Mazepa are equipped with the latest technology weapons and will make a significant contribution to our fleet."
It is unclear when both warships will be able to reach Ukraine, as the Montreux Convention generally prohibits warships of belligerent parties from entering and exiting the Black Sea through the Bosporus controlled by Turkey.
