Tajani: We will continue to stand by the Syrian people
Rome, November 6 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that Italy will continue to stand by the Syrian people and that they have agreed to strengthen joint efforts to revive economic relations through the expertise of Italian companies.
Tajani announced that at COP30 in Brazil, he met with Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara and Minister al-Sheibani to discuss bilateral relations and the situation in the Middle East.
He emphasized that Italy is at the forefront of a peaceful and inclusive political process, including the stabilization of Syria and the protection of significant Christian communities in the region.
“We will continue to stand by the Syrian people. We have also agreed to strengthen our joint efforts to revive economic relations through the expertise of our companies,” Tajani said.
