Tajani reacts to the release of Moretti
Rome, 23 January (Hibya) – A fire at the Crans-Montana Ski Resort in Switzerland had claimed the lives of 40 people. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani reacted to the release of Jacques Moretti, who had been detained as part of the investigation into the fire.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Tajani said he had no words in response to the release of Jacques Moretti in Switzerland.
Stating that this decision represents a real insult to the sensitivity of the families who lost their children in Crans-Montana and ignores the mourning and deep pain they share with the Italian people, Tajani said:
“We will further strengthen our support and solidarity with the parents of the victims of this incredible tragedy. We will continue our cooperation with the Swiss authorities to uncover the truth of what happened and to determine responsibilities.”
