Syrian President Ahmad Shara had a phone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss regional developments and support for Syria’s stability and reconstruction process.

Shara emphasized the importance of supporting the political process in Syria and strengthening stability during the discussion of the latest regional developments.

During the conversation, the comprehensive agreement reached between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces was also discussed.

French President Macron welcomed the agreement, stressing the importance of its implementation in a way that would guarantee Syria’s unity and sovereignty.

Furthermore, Macron expressed France's determination to continue coordination to support Syria and the Syrian people in the process of stability, justice, and reconstruction.
