Lazzarini: Since the ceasefire took effect in Gaza, 500 people have been killed
New York, January 31 (Hibya) - United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini announced that since the ceasefire took effect in Gaza, nearly 500 people have been killed.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini emphasized that the ceasefire is only on paper, adding that 30 more people were killed today.
According to UNICEF, since the ceasefire took effect, nearly 500 people have been killed, including more than 100 children. Lazzarini stated: "A ceasefire means the guns fall silent and efforts to end the war begin."
Lazzarini emphasized that the people of Gaza deserve a real ceasefire.
