Spanish Prime Minister Sanchez: We must suspend arms shipments to Israel
Madrid, 18 October (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez stated that they must suspend arms shipments to Israel.
Prime Minister Sanchez announced that they demanded consistency and respect for international law in the Middle East at the European Council.
He also stated that they condemned Netanyahu’s serious statements regarding the withdrawal of the UN peacekeeping mission and added:
"We must review the Partnership Agreement between the EU and Israel. We must suspend arms shipments to Israel. In terms of consistency, countries that have not yet recognized Palestine as a state must do so."
