Series of explosions reported in south Beirut
Stockholm, October 5 (Hibya) - A series of loud explosions were heard in south Beirut early Saturday morning following Israeli airstrikes.
The Israeli army had previously ordered evacuations for parts of the capital's southern suburbs.
The Israeli army issued the first warning to residents of a building in the Burj al-Barajneh district, the second to residents of a building in the Choueifat district, and the third to buildings in Haret Hreik and Burj al-Barajneh.
Video footage from various channels showed smoke rising over Dahieh, close to the airport.
