Sanchez said the goal is for growth in these areas to proceed in line with the capacity of the electricity grid, contribute to the efficient use of energy resources and strengthen Europe's technological autonomy.
Stating that their aim is not to hinder innovation, Sanchez said: “On the contrary, it is to ensure that innovation is sustainable and creates value for society.”
