Madrid, July 27 (Hibya) - Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced a new support package to strengthen the national network of climate shelters in order to improve resilience against extreme weather events.

Sanchez said that a €10 million grant program had been approved to create new climate shelters, including in educational institutions, adding: "This includes educational centers as well. In addition, another €9 million is being allocated to advance urban renaturalization and strengthen our cities' readiness for the ecological transition."
