Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Speaking on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” on Sunday, Khanna, referring to Attorney General Pam Bondi, said, “If we don’t get the remaining files… then Thomas Massie and I are prepared to pursue impeachment or contempt proceedings.”

The Department of Justice did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment.

In an interview on Sunday, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the Department of Justice had released more than 3 million documents related to its investigation into Epstein.

Speaking on ABC’s “This Week,” Blanche said, “This review is finished. We have nothing to hide, and we never did.”

Khanna and Republican Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie had previously criticized the Department of Justice for failing to meet the December deadline set to release all files related to the Epstein case.

In a statement on Friday, Khanna said the Department of Justice had identified more than 6 million documents, but after review and redactions, released only about 3.5 million.

On Sunday, the Democratic lawmaker said Friday’s Epstein disclosure was “significant,” but still represented only about half of the collected files.

“But even these have shaken the conscience of this country,” Khanna said on Sunday.

“I mean, some of the wealthiest individuals, technology leaders, financial leaders, and politicians are in some way implicated,” he added.

Khanna said on Sunday, “Frankly, I think this is one of the biggest scandals in our country’s history. The elite must be held accountable.”
