Qatari Foreign Minister Al Thani speaks with Fidan and Al Nahyan
Doha, September 14 (Hibya) — Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held phone calls with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and United Arab Emirates Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
According to a statement from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held separate phone calls with Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the call with Fidan, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Türkiye and ways to further develop it, as well as the latest developments in the region. Diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and strengthening regional security and stability were also reviewed.
During the call between Al Thani and Abdullah bin Zayed, the two sides discussed cooperation relations between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates and ways to support and strengthen them. Al Thani emphasized Qatar’s full support for all diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at reaching a comprehensive agreement that guarantees freedom of maritime navigation and establishes sustainable peace in the region.
