Qatar's Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, met in Doha with United Nations Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), Dr. Rania Al Mashat.

According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting with Dr. Al Mashat, who is visiting Qatar, focused on cooperation between Qatar and the United Nations.

The two sides reviewed joint efforts to support sustainable development, empower the most vulnerable groups in society, and enhance humanitarian work across the region.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
