According to a statement by the Presidency of the Russian Federation, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting at the Kremlin Palace with United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is in Russia on an official visit.

Following the official welcoming ceremony held in the St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, the talks continued first in an expanded format with the participation of delegations, and then one-on-one within the framework of an official breakfast.

In his statement, Putin said: “I am pleased to see you in Moscow. This year, we will celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries. We highly value your significant personal contribution to all areas of the multifaceted, mutually beneficial and dynamically growing Russia-UAE strategic partnership.”
