Plenkovic congratulates Sveta Nedelja on its Day
Zagreb, May 29 (Hibya) - Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic congratulated Sveta Nedelja on its Day, highlighting local development, demographic policies, and government investments.
Croatian Prime Minister Plenkovic congratulated Sveta Nedelja, one of the youngest cities in the Zagreb region, on its city day.
In his message, Plenkovic stated that the government's regional development policies are yielding results and that investments in infrastructure, the economy, educational institutions, and young families have improved the quality of life in the city.
Emphasizing that Sveta Nedelja’s revenues have doubled thanks to fiscal decentralization policies, Plenkovic said this has created significant development opportunities for the city.
Plenkovic also noted that the Croatian government allocated 820 million euros this year under its demographic policies, stressing that strengthening family structures and balancing population trends are strategic priorities.
He added that the development process would continue in cooperation with local authorities.
