The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed its unwavering support for the unity, sovereignty, and political independence of the Federal Republic of Somalia in a manner that guarantees the Somali people’s right to a dignified, secure, and stable life.

Rejecting and condemning Israel’s recognition of the “Somaliland” region, the ministry stressed its opposition to any step that supports separatism, grants it legitimacy, weakens Somalia’s sovereignty and unity, or jeopardizes its stability.

The ministry also noted that this rejected recognition attempt is part of Israel’s broader policies, as an occupying colonial power, aimed at destabilizing international and regional peace and security by violating international law and the UN Charter.

Meanwhile, the State of Palestine reaffirmed its rejection of all Israeli plans for forced displacement under any pretext, considering them a red line.
