Iran condemns Israel’s violation of Somalia’s territorial integrity
Tehran, December 27 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei condemned Israel’s clear violation of Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity through attempts to advance a plan to fragment the country.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei strongly condemned Israel’s attempts to push forward a plan to divide Somalia, describing it as a blatant violation of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Baghaei characterized the move as a clear violation of the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law.
Emphasizing the principled stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the necessity of safeguarding the national sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Baghaei assessed Israel’s move as being in line with the regime’s policy of destabilizing regional countries and increasing insecurity in the Red Sea region and the Horn of Africa.
Baghaei also called on the international community to take decisive steps to neutralize these expansionist and threatening actions of the occupying regime.
