In a statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said it welcomed the declaration by Germany–France–United Kingdom on the immediate cessation of the war.

The ministry’s statement on the matter read as follows:

“The ministry continues to monitor positive developments, especially in European countries, and is working to transform the international consensus on the immediate cessation of the war into concrete and practical steps that will end Israel’s aggression against our people, bring an end to the occupation, and implement the New York Declaration – an irreversible path toward the establishment of the State of Palestine on the ground.”
