Pakistan condemns Israel’s actions in the West Bank and at Al-Aqsa Mosque
Islamabad, 18 November (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Pakistan condemns Israel’s violations in the West Bank and at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement issued by the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, it was said that Pakistan condemns the ongoing violations by Israeli forces against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, the repeated raids into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the provocations against worshippers.
The statement noted that such actions constitute a clear violation of international law and of the relevant UN resolutions, and continued as follows:
“The inviolability of holy sites must be preserved in accordance with international law and the historic status quo.
Pakistan calls on the international community to take urgent and effective measures to ensure the protection of holy sites, to prevent settler violence and provocations, and to support the relevant UN resolutions.”
