Pakistan and Singapore foreign ministers discuss bilateral relations
New York, September 25 (Hibya)-Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar met with Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan in New York on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to a statement from Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, Dar and Balakrishnan reviewed bilateral relations during the meeting and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The two ministers agreed that continued engagement and high-level meetings would contribute to deepening bilateral relations and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
The meeting also addressed regional and international developments of mutual interest. Balakrishnan appreciated Pakistan's efforts to promote dialogue and diplomacy in resolving regional issues.
The two ministers agreed to remain in close contact.
