Netanyahu claimed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are the most moral army in the world, stating, "The IDF is doing everything to prevent harm to those not involved. And I once again call on the civilian population to evacuate to a safe area in the southern Gaza Strip. On the other hand, the enemy's malice knows no bounds."

Netanyahu said that in the first weeks of the war, they crushed the enemy with a massive aerial assault and added, "In recent days, we have ensured our forces go underground with increased intensity. We have eliminated numerous killers, including serial killers, and destroyed countless headquarters and terrorist infrastructure; we are still at the beginning of the road."

Netanyahu emphasized that the war in the Gaza Strip will be tough and prolonged, but they are prepared for it, saying, "This is our second fight for independence. We will fight for the defense of our homeland. We will fight and not retreat. We will fight on land, at sea, and in the air. We will annihilate the enemy both above and below the ground. We will fight and we will win."
