Global bond markets saw diverging moves in 10-year government bond yields as investors continued to price in expectations regarding monetary policy.

The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury note rose by 0.005 percentage points to 4.708 percent, extending its upward trend.

In Europe, Germany's 10-year Bund yield declined by 0.0122 percentage points to 3.199 percent. France's 10-year government bond yield also fell by 0.0168 percentage points to 4.0123 percent.

In Asia, Japan's 10-year government bond yield increased by 0.034 percentage points to 2.805 percent.

The UK 10-year government bond yield also rose by 0.0048 percentage points to 5.1089 percent, maintaining its upward trajectory.

The divergence in bond yields indicated that investors continued to price in differing expectations regarding countries' economic outlooks, inflation prospects and central bank interest rate policies.
