Lavrov meets Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto
Minsk, October 28 (Hibya) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Lavrov and Szijjarto exchanged views on a wide range of practical issues concerning bilateral cooperation, including the energy sector. They also continued discussions on current international matters.
Szijjarto said that he met with Lavrov following his meetings in the United States last week and stated:
“I am pleased to hear that Russia is also ready to continue high-level dialogue with the United States. This gives hope for peace. We also discussed Hungary’s energy security, which we will address next week in Washington with the U.S.”
