Lahbib: Rising violence in northern Mozambique has forced thousands to flee
Brussels, October 21 (Hibya) – The EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, reported that escalating violence in northern Mozambique has forced thousands of people to flee.
EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that the increasing violence in northern Mozambique has led to the displacement of thousands of people.
“The EU is responding with €800,000 in humanitarian aid to provide urgent assistance and protection to those most in need,” said Lahbib, adding that all attacks on civilians must stop.
