Kallas: We will conduct joint exercises together and share information
Brussels, March 24 (Hibya) - European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas stated that the new Security and Defense Partnership signed with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Richard Marles is a strategic investment in the shared security of Europe and Australia.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas said, "Australia and Europe may be separated by oceans, but our security is inseparable."
Emphasizing that this new Security and Defense Partnership signed with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Richard Marles is a strategic investment in the shared security of Europe and Australia, Kallas stated:
"Together, we will conduct joint exercises, share information, build resilience against cyber and hybrid threats, and deepen cooperation from crisis response to maritime security."
