IDF: Approximately 15 militants neutralized from the air
Tel Aviv, April 3 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that 15 Hezbollah-affiliated militants were neutralized in targeted operations and airstrikes in southern Lebanon, and that a significant amount of ammunition was seized.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued an update on military activities in operational areas in southern Lebanon and strikes carried out in coordination with the Air Force.
It was stated that operations were intensified following field detections by units under the command of the 146th Division.
Regarding the technical details of the operation and developments on the ground, the statement said: "In a targeted strike carried out by the 146th Division, units from the 213th Fire Brigade and the 226th Brigade identified approximately 15 militants in operational areas in southern Lebanon. Following rapid identification, the Air Force, under the division’s direction, neutralized the militants."
In addition to the strikes, the statement included the following regarding military equipment seized during search operations in the area:
"Air Force fighter jets neutralized the militants in a rapid operation. Security forces also seized various weapons belonging to the Hezbollah organization in southern Lebanon, including firearms, vests, and hand grenades."
