Guterres: I call on leaders to choose diplomacy and solidarity
New York, September 23 (Hibya) - United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres called for solidarity with people displaced by escalating conflicts and with the communities hosting them.
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said in a statement on his social media account that the expansion of conflicts had forced large numbers of people to become displaced.
As part of the United Nations General Assembly, Guterres called on leaders to choose diplomacy over division, solidarity over self-interest, and humanity over indifference.
