Fletcher: Emergency relief fund activated for storm in the Philippines
New York, November 7 (Hibya) – UN Humanitarian and Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher announced that support will be provided from the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) for the Philippines affected by the new storm.

Fletcher noted that USD 5.95 million has been allocated from the UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF), adding, “In this situation, assistance will be delivered to the most at-risk communities within just minutes of the early warnings.”
