EU summit held under the shadow of trade war threats
Brussels, February 4 (Hibya) - U.S. President Donald Trump's threats to impose tariffs on European goods overshadowed the agenda of the EU summit in Brussels.
The leaders of 27 EU member states gathered at Egmont Palace in Brussels to discuss ways to strengthen Europe's defense and deterrence capabilities.
However, EU leaders signaled that the bloc is ready to retaliate if Trump follows through on his threats to impose tariffs on European goods.
