Berlin, February 22 (Hibya) - A Spanish tourist was attacked with a knife at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin last night and sustained serious injuries.
German police arrested a suspect in connection with the stabbing of a Spanish tourist at the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. Authorities said the tourist was seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
The reason for the attack is unclear, but it is reported that the attacker was captured about three hours after the incident. A police officer at the scene said that the attacker was walking with blood on his hands.
A police spokesperson said the attacker was later arrested and the weapon used in the attack, which he said was most likely a knife, was confiscated.
