EU Council President Costa congratulates Austria on its National Day
Brussels, October 26 (Hibya) – President of the European Union Council, António Costa, issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of Austria’s National Day.
In his message, Costa said: “I extend my warmest congratulations to the people of Austria on the occasion of their National Day. Austria’s steadfast commitment to dialogue, multilateralism, and cooperation, as a country at the heart of Europe, continues to enrich and strengthen our European Union.”
Concluding his message in German with the words “Einen schönen Nationalfeiertag!” (Happy National Day!), Costa highlighted Austria’s constructive role in European integration.
