Dar: We welcome the agreement signed in Doha
Islamabad, October 19 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan welcomes the agreement signed between Pakistan and Afghanistan in Doha.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Dar stated that they welcomed the agreement signed late last night in Doha, calling it a step in the right direction.
Dar expressed deep appreciation for the constructive role played by the brotherly countries Qatar and Türkiye, and added:
“We look forward to the next meeting, to be hosted by Türkiye, to establish a concrete and verifiable monitoring mechanism to address the terrorist threat emanating from Afghan territory towards Pakistan. It is important to make every effort to prevent further loss of life.”
