Cooper: The Kremlin will not escape sanctions through crypto networks
London, May 26 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper made a statement regarding sanctions against Russia and the dismantling of financial networks.
Cooper evaluated the sanctions imposed on Russia.
Cooper said, “The Kremlin will not be able to evade our sanctions by hiding behind crypto networks and shadow financial systems.”
Stating that the United Kingdom is targeting Russia’s financial resources, Cooper said, “The United Kingdom is identifying and cutting off the financial arteries that keep Putin’s war machine alive.”
Regarding the new sanctions, Cooper said, “The new sanctions will block safe havens for those supporting Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.”
