Bern, August 1 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis emphasized unity, solidarity, and freedom in his message marking Switzerland's National Day.

Cassis said he celebrated the national holiday together with citizens in Düdingen, Canton of Fribourg, stating: "Our country did not fall from the sky; it grew through patience, trust, and solidarity."
Stressing that the values that make Switzerland strong must be preserved, Cassis said: "Let us together safeguard the freedom, solidarity, and bridge-building spirit that make us strong," while extending his National Day greetings to all citizens.
