Ottawa, 28 January (Hibya) – Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Anita Anand condemned Russia’s drone attack on a civilian passenger train in the Kharkiv region.

Stating that this attack shows Russia is not seeking peace, Anand said, “Russia must immediately cease its attacks on civilian infrastructure and end its war of aggression.”
Anand emphasized that Canada will continue to work with its partners to achieve a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
