Budrys: Lithuania stands in solidarity with the Iranian people
Vilnius, January 10 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said that Lithuania, together with the European Union, stands in solidarity with the Iranian people and their legitimate demands for freedom, dignity, and a better life.
Foreign Minister Budrys stated that Lithuania, alongside the European Union, stands in solidarity with the Iranian people and their legitimate demands for freedom, dignity, and a better life.
Noting that they are calling on Iranian authorities to comply with Iran’s international obligations and to fully guarantee freedom of expression, freedom of association, and the right to peaceful assembly, Budrys added: “We also call for ensuring the right of access to information, including the full restoration of internet access.”
